This was the first time I stayed at a guesthouse and it was on the recommendation of a friend and I’m glad we did! In the past I was dubious about staying at guesthouses as I was worried I would feel like I was encroaching on someone else’s living space, however that was certainly not the case. The ‘guest’ section of the house is on the 3rd floor and is finished to a high standard with great attention to detail. I particularly liked that fact that shampoo and conditioner were available (very girly I know!). The beds were comfortable, the bathroom stunning, particularly the shower! We had a couple of nights out, so were given a key to come and go as needed, just being mindful of the kiddies in bed! We were given a choice of breakfasts included in the cost of the stay and this was served in a room that is reserved for use by guests. The food was outstanding! All freshly cooked and Sally’s home made muffins were worth paying extra for!All in all, I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone. 5 star hospitality at 3 star cost. Hard to beat!
