The Breakfast and Sitting Room

This lovely large ground floor room runs the length of the house with large sunny bay window to the front of the house overlooking the church. The front area is the sitting room / lounge, which provides sofas to curl up on, a music centre with a good selection of CDs, books and magazines for your use whilst with us.

The other part of the room is the breakfast room, with large tables (well you need room to spread out the papers don’t you?) and a self service area with sideboard and dresser, where you will find your breakfast choices set out each morning. We cook your hot food freshly to order. We suggest you allow plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast. Our sausages are from local butcher Walmsley’s and are the best we have ever tasted and believe us, we have done the research! I have even been known to state ‘award-winning sausages’ as a reason to move here!

Breakfast is between 8.30 a.m and 10 am (Sat – Sun) and 8am (Mon – Fri) and there are a supply of breakfast menus in your room for you to ‘choose and tick’ and place in the box on the first floor landing before 8.00 p.m. on the previous evening please. You can view our breakfast menu here

We have an iron and ironing board available on request for your use. For a small charge could undertake some washing for you – machine washables only please.

We aim to provide everything you could need for a comfortable stay in our ‘home from home’ but we are always open to suggestions as to how we can make your stay even better.
